About the role
Tailspin needs a data engineer for a 12-month contract to strengthen its data platform. You’ll build the pipelines and models that analysts and product teams rely on every day.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain data pipelines into Snowflake
- Model data with dbt so it’s easy to trust and use
- Improve data quality checks, testing and documentation
- Work with analysts to understand and meet their needs
What you’ll bring
- Around 4 or more years in data engineering
- Hands-on experience with dbt and SQL
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake
- Able to work hybrid in Toronto
Nice to have
- Python for data work
- Experience with orchestration tools
